About us
Your hostess, Letitia Bergeron, welcomes you with a warm smile to our charming and rustic B&B, with its exposed beams and cedar panelled walls. Around the corner in the sitting room, the fireplace crackles invitingly. Out the window, you can see skiers on the slopes of snow-covered St. Sauveur Mountain. During the summer, you can relax beside the magnificent swimming pool in our intimate private garden.
Your French chef, Eric Emilien, gets your day off to a good start by preparing you a breakfast that is a feast for both eye and palate. But what he enjoys most is dazzling you in the evening with a dinner worthy of the best restaurants in the region. After completing his chef’s training in his native France, Eric improved his knowledge and experience by travelling the world and working in several countries before finally settling in this holiday paradise. He brings 15 years experience and tremendous passion to the art of cooking and, as a pastry expert, creates desserts that are out of this world. You have to taste his hot chocolate cake! The Table d’Hôte menu changes with the seasons as Eric always uses fresh local products.
We have four rooms to offer in our charming 80-year old house, each with its own country character and style. For a romantic getaway, what better than the Safari Room: imagine yourself in its Jacuzzi for two, sparkling wine in hand! If you’ve come to the country to unwind, you can also receive a relaxing massage from our massage therapist in the comfort of your room.
Saint-Sauveur has long been recognized for its picturesque charm. It’s delightful to spend a sunny afternoon walking along the main street, exploring its profusion of art galleries and shops where creativity and originality rule. Many of the shops are factory or designer outlets where you can find some exceptional bargains. In addition to its famous mountain, which boasts the largest illuminated downhill ski terrain in the world, the Saint-Sauveur valley offers a wide range of activities for all tastes, including dog sledding, snowshoeing, golf, biking, horseback riding and the many thrills and delights of its breathtaking water park. Our most popular activity is the touristic tour, which includes visits of three villages: Saint-Sauveur, Morin Heights and St. Adolphe d’Howard. Your knowledgeable and courteous guide will tell you stories about the life, history and culture of these villages and of our beautiful region.
Whatever your reason for coming, we are confident that you will take infinite pleasure in discovering or rediscovering the beauty and hospitality of this wonderful part of the Laurentians.
